With Memorial Day weekend behind us, now is the time for an abundance of outdoor activities. Some of these might be adult events that have beer and other alcoholic beverages present. Before you head out to these, make sure that you have a safe way to make it home. The last thing that you need over these fun summer months is to be arrested for drunk driving.

It is often possible to make these plans ahead of time. You can ask a trusted friend to be the designated driver before you leave, or you can use rideshares to get to the event and back home. Unfortunately, there are times when you aren’t able to plan and might need to figure out how to get home. When this happens, you are left with a conundrum. You might not want to leave your car where it is, but you need to get home. It is usually better for you to leave the car put and find a ride home.

If something happens, and you do have to drive home, you face the possibility of being pulled over by police officers. This can lead to criminal charges if they find that you are impaired. Now, you will have to spend your summer working on your defense strategy. We know that this isn’t how you want to spend your summer months, but you must work diligently on it because you run the risk of facing severe consequences if you don’t.

We are here to help you work on your defense strategy. We can help you with the criminal case, as well as with the administrative process. We just need to get moving on this as quickly as possible.
